Over the past two seasons it’s been an absolute pleasure to sponsor young footballers of the future, in the form of Farringdon Detached FC. Sponsorship enables the team at Farringdon to provide home and away kits for children from all backgrounds across Sunderland.

The Hillend Engineering logo has proudly featured on every kit and item of clothing worn by these young players, and it’s been a privilege to see them grow in confidence and ability both on and off the pitch.

In their first season, the foundations were laid by offering football to U10 and U11 boys and girls at grassroots level across Durham and Sunderland. This season, they have gone unbeaten in over 20 matches - an incredible achievement that speaks volumes about the team’s development and spirit.

We’re excited to continue our partnership, with every penny being invested into kits and equipment, to provide opportunities for those who otherwise couldn’t afford to play.
