Our CITYTRAK RCV has been shortlisted as a contender for Fleet Vision International’s Vehicle of the Year 2026.
CITYTRAK is an ultra-efficient workhorse, and when fitted with Z-CAM AI camera which monitors the rear loading area and instantaneously intervenes to stop loader accidents as a hazardous situation occurs, is a truly market-leading proposition for operators.
On the road, CITYTRAK has a short wheelbase at just 10.2 metres, including the bin lift, and no unnecessary overhang, which gives impressive manoeuvrability and excellent wall-to-wall, and kerb-to-kerb turning around parked cars and through narrow bending roads. It is rear steer, which gives drivers an extremely straightforward turning manoeuvre for a vehicle of its size. Customers are telling us that this is the only high-capacity vehicle that gives this kind of collection efficiency, and their drivers are really appreciating its performance.
CITYTRAK is built for high productivity, with an 18 to 28 cubic meter body volume and upgraded hydraulics for a fast hopper cycle time of 14-16 seconds, enabling waste to promptly clear the hopper. For glass bottle collections CITYTRAK has a deeper hopper floor and an upgraded packing mechanism so that bottles are packed efficiently into the body, whilst monitored by a sensor which prevents glass from stacking and spilling back into the hopper.
Z-CAM AI Camera detects hazards and takes immediate action
The new Z-CAM AI camera mounted to the back of our CITYTRAK demonstrator is compelling for fleet operators. Z-CAM has a full view of the bin lift functionality, analysing the area around the lifter in real time. As the operators step towards the bin lift, within the bin lift working area danger zone, the AI camera analyses the approaching object and reliably identifies it as either a bin or a person.
If Z-CAM identifies a person moving within the danger zone, the AI functionality takes immediate action either preventing the mechanism starting up, or stopping it depending on the course of action required to prevent what could be a potentially catastrophic outcome.

As a fleet resource, CITYTRAK’s quality and versatility is immense, giving operators a vehicle which is focussed on household waste collection, but can be diverted to cover segmented waste from a range of trade bins with great efficiency.
